The Apathy was a turfer something that she favored from her old stables and while she was meant for the dirt it was something different and totally fine. Carlos took over as her jockey and was in the process of training her to be up at the top or at least the best that she can be. She was an amazing filly who just loved to run and throw her heart out. While she would not be facing the Turf Tiara next year she would be on her way to the Dubai and Green Mile if approached so. She was a miler filly and Carlos would stick to the mile races most definitely, and she may even take on the Breeder's Cup depending on her well being. She was a tough cracker to cook but with a little patience this sweet filly would rack up the wins in no time.
Manhattan Royalty was a totally different story. He was a dual surfaced sprinter who did favor the turf quite well but next year he would try out for the dirt races indeed. David Monroe was assigned to the colt and would lead him to victory as his brothers before him. Manhattan Royalty was a fiery colt and yes he would be running in the Breeder's cup with no issues except for his competition. The two just started out in a small gallop of course Manny held his head high as he stayed clear of the railings before he galloped at a faster pace. Comet showed no interest in following the colt but going her own game.
Apathy pushed her own limits and galloped with an easy ease relaxing her muscles as she raised her tail to the joy's of running. She would usually come to bat her eyes at the boys but in this occasion she was set to have a good time and threw the grass under her hooves behind her passing each minute as her jockey commanded. Manny slowed his pace, as a sprinter he didn't get very far in the distance department and Apathy was a miler she could hold her ground. She continued farther on after Manny stopped and she followed the path in front of her until she passed the right mark and was pulled to a stop within moments. The race would be forthcoming and Apathy would give it her best.
